WHY WE MADE ZYKL

Whether we are writing code, drawing, studying or just trying to read a book in peace, the phone next to us keeps asking for attention.

One buzz from a chat, one social alert, and the thought is gone. We pick the phone up, check it, and twenty minutes later we are still trying to remember what we were doing.

So we asked a simple question: what if the phone did the opposite? What if, while you work, it became a calm, single-purpose object on your desk that protects your attention instead of taking it?

Put your phone on the desk with ZYKL running and it stops looking like a phone. No badges, no feeds: just an analog dial with a needle that ticks once a second, a small record player, and a paper slip with today's five tasks.

The look comes from mid-century industrial design: honest materials, clear controls, nothing extra. Choose from 12 finishes, from matte black and warm cream to brushed titanium and walnut. It is meant to feel like an object you would keep for years.
