THE SHORT VERSION
ZYKL is free to use, with no ads. Studio PRO is an optional one-time purchase, never a subscription. Use it for yourself, don't repackage it, and understand that it's provided as-is.
1. Agreement
These terms apply to the ZYKL Android app and the zykl.app website, made by RSQUARE (“we”). By installing or using ZYKL you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
2. Your license
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use ZYKL on Android devices you own or control, for your own study, work or personal focus. The app is licensed to you, not sold; we keep all rights not expressly granted here.
3. Free core and Studio PRO
Free. The timer, the task slip, focus analytics, 8 soundscapes and 4 dial editions are free to use, with no ads.
Studio PRO is an optional one-time in-app purchase made through Google Play. It unlocks all 20 soundscapes, all 12 dial editions and the year heatmap in focus analytics, plus everything we add to Studio PRO in future updates, at no extra cost. The price is shown in Google Play before you pay (currently a launch price of US$4.99, or Rp 69.000 in Indonesia; the amount in your currency can vary by country and tax, and later buyers may pay more). It is not a subscription and never renews or charges you again.
Your purchase is linked to your Google account. Install ZYKL again with the same account to restore it. Refunds follow Google Play's refund policy; if something went wrong, you can also write to us and we will help.
4. Updates
We may update ZYKL to fix bugs, add features or change how things work. We intend to keep everything Studio PRO unlocks available to people who bought it for as long as ZYKL is offered on Google Play.
5. What you agree not to do
- Copy, modify, decompile or redistribute the app, or publish modified builds of it.
- Bypass or tamper with the Studio PRO purchase check.
- Remove copyright or trademark notices.
- Use the contact form to send spam, abuse or anything unlawful.
6. Your data
Everything you create in ZYKL stays on your phone (see the Privacy Policy). Because we don't store it, we can't recover it for you. Back up your device if your history matters to you before resetting or replacing it.
7. No warranty
We work hard to make ZYKL reliable, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Some phones stop background apps to save battery, which can delay or stop a timer or sound; ZYKL is a focus aid and should not be relied on for anything critical, such as medication or safety reminders.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from using ZYKL, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for Studio PRO in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.
9. Ownership
The ZYKL name and logo, the app's design, code and audio content belong to or are licensed to RSQUARE. Other product names mentioned on this site belong to their respective owners.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. This does not take away any consumer protection you have under the laws of the country where you live.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using ZYKL after a change, the updated terms apply.
